Cloth wristbands can be used to absorb the sweat that is rolling down your arms. They can be very useful to match up with a team's uniform or around a special event.

Breast Cancer Awareness
During the month of October many schools buy pink wrist sweatbands for their football team or woman’s basketball team. They can wear these on the court or field to symbolize the importance of the month. Many schools take it a step further by customizing a sweatband to raise funds for their charity. This is a great idea but should be planned ahead of time to make sure that your design can be completed before your event. Usually a good rule of thumb is about 4 weeks before the event.

St Patty’s day is wildly popular in the United States. Some schools run a fund raiser with green wristbands around this during men’s basketball season. The date is on March 17th every year. Sometimes this can correlate well with an event outside sports as well. There are many different holidays worldwide that can match with the different colors of cloth wristbands.
